Key Policies

The purpose of this policy is to protect people, particularly children, at risk adults and beneficiaries of assistance, from any harm that may be caused due to their coming into contact with SYNGESIS CIC. This includes harm arising from: 

· The conduct of staff or personnel associated with SYNGESIS CIC.

· The design and implementation of SYNGESIS CIC’s programmes and activities 

Syngesis CIC recognises that volunteers’ make an appropriate and significant contribution to the work and service objectives of Syngesis CIC. This document sets out the principles, practices and procedures which Syngesis CIC will follow in the appointment, management and control of volunteers.

Syngesis CIC is committed to involving service users in a meaningful way in the planning, delivery, and organisation of its services. 

Receiving feedback and responding to complaints is an important part of improving the quality of our work through ensuring that stakeholders can hold us to account.

You can do this using various channels such as event feedback forms, evaluation meetings, e-mail, calling us, speaking to staff/volunteers, using our website form.

At Syngesis CIC, we deeply value the time and efforts of our staff, volunteers, and contractors. Acknowledging the impact of the cost of living crisis, we are committed to paying an adequate, fair, and living wage. Despite being a small organisation, we ensure that this principle is integrated into our project planning and budgeting.
